Well suited to small chart tables, the ParaLock Plotter's primary purpose is to transfer GPS positions rapidly and accurately to and from any paper chart.
Three clever ideas
The friction-adjustable locking knob fixes the two rules at any separation for fast latitude and longitude transfers. Two sets of finger holes let your fingertips act as friction pads and tell you if the rule slips. And although it is only 7¼ in long, it opens as wide as a standard 15 in rule.
Graduations let it double as a protractor, and the bottom ruler transfers distances to the mileage scale. It fits a pocket or drawer and comes in a sleeve with instructions.
